You can get an apostille, as well as most documents in Georgia, at the House of Justice. An application for an Apostille in Georgia can be completed by a third party not specified in the document (a power of attorney may be required).
The documents required to obtain an Apostille in Georgia at the House of Justice include:
- a document on which the Georgian Apostille stamp must be affixed
- an identity document of the applicant
- payment of the state fee for the Georgian Apostille stamp
The application processing period is determined by the amount of the state fee - from 1 to 20 days (the shorter the period, the higher the state fee).
It should also be noted that Georgia is a party to the agreement on electronic apostille.
